Retired folks are probably one of the most consistently active voting blocks. Just look at the power groups like AARP wields.

That post seems really dismissive of older people. Why would they be less important?

Given that the US broadcasts Voice of America, which is by definition propaganda, it seems hypocritical to then say that other perspectives couldn't be allowed. I generally think there should be much more leeway with freedom of speech when the context is politically charged, which is the case here.

This is a totally different question from whether the station should actually do it.

(And no, I am not a Trump supporter. I voted against him and plan on doing it again.)

Because old white guys, living in the Midwest, listening to an AM talk radio station, are likely to be Trump voters anyway and it’s doubtful this programming block will change anything?

True, but old white guys, living in the Midwest, listening to AM talk radio, are already likely Trump voters anyway.

    Oh
Why should the welcomeness of one's perspective be dependent on who they're voting for? That seems like the opposite of what you're looking for here.

I think he was hoping to find an actual Trump supporter who would find the idea of Russian propaganda bought and rebroadcast on the airwaves by a US station at least 'troublesome'.

The difference between this and Voice of America is that VOA is broadcast by the US into other areas. You typically don't have Russian broadcasters broadcasting VOA for us. This would be the equivalent of a Russian broadcaster buying VOA content and broadcasting it in say Kazan.

Of course everyone's perspective is welcome. I was just hoping a Trump supporter will be so brave.

You think it brave to tamp down on freedom of speech?
