Where in the articles of impeachment do they state that by "abuse of power" that they mean bribery and/or extortion? Please be specific.

Impeachment is not a criminal trial, rogue. Trump isn't going to prison if convicted. The charge is abuse of power because that is the charge in an impeachment trial that covers all abuses of the public trust committed by the president, and then those abuses are detailed in the Articles.

If you knew what bribery/extortion was, you'd be able to decipher it all by yourself by reading the details as put forth in the Articles.

To a large degree the charge is abuse of power because they

Nonsense, red herring. Schiff and the whistleblower have nothing to do with the actual evidence itself against Trump.

Obviously. Could you imagine any criminal trial allowing folks who are exerting themselves trying to replace "you" in 2020 being part of the jury deciding whether "you" can keep your job?

Well many of your Republican Senators have already publicly disagreed with you, and those who have not, know better. They're just hoping that their constituents are to ignorant, or unconcerned, to figure it out.

                  IOW, no. You cannot.

Just say that in the future rather than admitting that it requires "decipher[/ing]" (sorta like tea leaves?). It's shorter, meaning you can take another hit on your bong all the sooner.

Or a trial that allows for a jury to exert themselves to keep a corrupt president in his job? "Everything I do is in coordination with the White House Council. This president will not be impeached." MoscowMitch McConnell.

While that's true, Jim, the Constitution very specifically mentioned "high CRIMES and misdemeanors", both of which are criminal law terms.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

No, Jim, that's the focus group name up with which they came because they couldn't identify a specific crime. You're simply repeating the Liberal talking points over and over and over.

And what they meant by high crimes and misdemeaners was a "violation of the public trust" as stipulated by Hamilton in the Federalist papers. There were no codified High crimes and misdemeanors when the Constitution was written. Besides that, bribery/extortion is a crime and its a crime, along with obstruction of justice, not to mention the violation of the Impoundment act.

No, you're just refusing to acknowdlege the crimes for what they are as they are explained in the Articles of Impeachment. Cognitive dissonance I think they call it.

So, your article on the "Crimes in the articles of impeachment" has to explain that there weren't really "crimes" per se....

                              That's so precious.
Nevertheless, Trump crimed, and he was accused of crimes and his defence and other Repubs lied about it. In fact, in front of the Chief Justice, they conspired with a criminal POTUS, to subvert the course of justice.

They can call it mashed potatoes with gravy, but....

Give it up, Jim --- Shifty Schiff did a HORRIBLE job running this sham impeachment, just like Hillary did a HORRIBLE job running her campaign --- and you guys always have to find somebody else to blame.

It'll be OK, Jim --- you'll get through this. Trump will only be POTUS for 5 more years, and you're still a young man.
