My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1
If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26
This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

Several years ago I spent a couple of days sitting at a table in the local grocery store getting signatures on a petition by Focus on the Family Canada regarding tightening up laws on child pornography. The petition was sent to the federal government.
In the 2 days I was there hundreds of people coming in the door signed the petition. But one man sticks in my mind.
He picked up a pen to sign, then asked me who was sponsoring the petition. I told him, and he threw the pen down on the table and started to walk away. I asked him why he changed his mind about signing, he replied that it was because the petition was by FOTF.
I then asked him if he cared about helping to stop child pornography, and he replied yes.
Then I said, "Why, then, does it matter who is sponsoring the petition if the outcome is to help children". He said, "It's a Christian organization" and walked away.
THAT is the very same attitude I see here with all you Trump-haters. If the outcome is good for children, why do you care about whatever motives the man has?
You are so blinded by your hatred that you can't see the good! What a load of crap you all talk!Last edited by mossrose; 01-25-2020, 11:40 AM.
