Seems like they'd like to, but seems unlikely they actually will. Both have taken very mild jabs in Bernie's general direction and then backed off them due to push-back. Hillary is so unpopular that her most recent jab at Bernie seems to have helped him.

which is going to sink his ship with moderates.
Very few people vote in primaries based on ideology. Polling shows that the vast majority of Dem primary voters do like Bernie, and do like his policies, and would be perfectly happy for him to become President. They've not against him due to being 'moderates' and viewing him as 'far left' or anything like that. In fact, the electorate as a whole seems to want 'change' in general - they voted for Obama when he promised 'hope and change' and then for Trump who promised to 'make America great again' - the electorate doesn't seem to be in the mood for a run of the mill centrist candidate and would prefer as much change as can be offered in general.

What polling shows with regard to non-Bernie voters is that they tend to be people who prioritize "will beat Trump" above all else. They have generally defaulted toward Biden because he has typically been the candidate that mainstream media has tended to assume / imply (without much in the way of evidence) would have the "best chance against Trump". This group of voters isn't against Bernie, and would be happy to vote for Bernie if someone convinced them he could beat Trump.

Interestingly current polling and the betting markets are suggesting that the mainstream media have been very wrong in their assumptions about who would beat Trump, and instead suggest that Bernie and Yang have the best chances against Trump in the current Dem field. The betting site I typically look at to see how the odds are going, today is giving Bernie 66% chance against Trump, and Biden 50% (and Yang ~70% but there's a lot of margin of error there due to low numbers and how the ratios work).

Yeah. They actually pay attention to the evidence that they present rather than mindlessly listening to what the left proclaims. Funny ain't it?

Usually I prefer The Majority Report w/ Sam Seder though, as he has more expertise about the history of US politics.

It's always amusing repeat something here a US source has said, and then see you lunatics respond by falling over yourselves declaring how what I'm saying proves that as a foreigner I know nothing about the US. I've long lost count of the number of times you've made utter fools of yourselves that way.

Breitbart just plain makes up stuff to deceive the gullible, like project veritas, so yes.

Well, some people appear to still take your posts seriously, so it's not like extreme naivety is uncommon.

Obama allegedly said something in private that he would surface and recommend voters avoid Bernie. If nothing else, that will sway away the black vote and will likely sink Bernie's chances. Yeah, Hillary is generally unpopular but she is still valid among a lot of woman and moderate Democrat voters. She could do Bernie damage.

I have a neighbor who voted for Bernie in 2016 and will likely vote for him again. He's a nice guy but he's an idiot. He couldn't verbalize why he likes Bernie, other than he "likes him". A sad state of affairs.

I don't see Bernie or Biden coming out on top. I sense it will be Warren or one of the underdogs.

Yeah but look how happy his people are, eating out of trash cans and waiting in lines for days to get rotted food!

Are you saying he's wrong and that it's actually bad to provide food to hungry people?

Socialism - Standing in a line for days for bare sustenance as opposed to capitalism where there ARE no food lines and you can actually go to the grocery store and have the choice to buy multiple brands of every item conceivable.

And those people in bread lines still have to resort to eating out of trash cans, while Maduro eats like a king?

Yeah, bread lines are actually a bad thing, Star.

There isn't supposed to be poor hungry people in socialism Star. Right? And no rich people either.
