Of course allies loved Obama. He basically was giving away US tax dollars wherever he could. Nothing like having a rich patsy in the neighborhood.
Oh, and he was black, which appealed to progressive allies. They gave him a Peace Prize for doing nothing more than being black - and then he ended up fomenting lots of chaos in the Middle East (some peaceful guy).
You're creating your own reality now. Conservatives here don't believe Trump is popular internationally, so why are you claiming so? Being "popular" among allies and being feared by enemies aren't the same thing.
So yeah, it seems you are a bigot, and apparently a bigot with your own reality.
I live for unwitting irony.

Repeating (yes, it's been said many times before) that Obama won his Peace Prize for being black is in no conceivable way racist. He was the first black US president - so squishy European progressives thought it was a milestone worth highlighting. Obama hadn't done anything at all worthy of a prize. Not being Bush? That's ridiculous.

Let me know when you locate any. Playing the race card doesn't qualify. In fact, it is getting old and predictable.
What part of unwitting do you need explained?

Even allowing for immense hyperbole in "most of his time" apologizing, the claim is still absurd. Obama must have given 1000 or more speeches in his 8 years as President... in how many of them was the primary point an apology? My guess would be zero.

Race card card.
The race card card only gets you out of jail if your jailer is a racist.Last edited by Ronson; 02-16-2020, 07:28 AM.

Not true. He didn't cut checks to allies, and the amount the US spends on foreign aid per capita remained low under Obama.

I have literally never heard that idea. The explanation that was universal across international media was that it was for not being George Bush / "strengthening international diplomacy".
So no, his bogus prize wasn't for "not being Bush" but for being the first black US president (or, as progressives might say, "nod nod wink wink").Last edited by Ronson; 02-16-2020, 07:23 AM.

Wolof is a major tribal language in West Africa. Since colonization, it's incorporated enough pidgen French to wedge a conversation together and pick up a working vocabulary, with a bit of time. I took the time.
French, German, and Italian were in partial fulfillment for my last degree, but I can only claim fluency in French. I've summered in Europe. I spent five years working in Spanish-language media, which took me to South America fairly regularly. Still, my Spanish is passable, at best.
And if you're going to do much traveling in the Muslim world, you need enough Arabic to get along. They're pretty forgiving if you're trying, alhamdoulilahi, which is just as well, because my Arabic has never risen past gawdawful. Lebanon is technically part of Asia, so if you want to count that, it's five continents, but I don't, because honestly, it was in Beirut, and it wasn't safe to get out much.
I'm assuming you haven't left the Appalachians yet, so all these tales from foreign lands must sound like fantasy. My condolences, and sympathies.
Feel free to explain how my saying Obama received the Peace Prize for being black is racist. No links to analysis by leftist media, just explain it. I understand you've traveled the world speaking seven languages. Should be easy for you.
No, the race card is used by progressives when they've run out of arguments.
It doesn't.

Sabatete is Wolof, a term of endearment from the children's song, "Doli o Doli." (edit)

Singling out someone's race to demean them is racist.
The race card card is used by racists thinking it provides cover for their racism.
Progressives/leftists like to shut people down with negative labels, because they have difficulty defending their position.Last edited by Ronson; 02-16-2020, 09:23 AM.
