Of course the pastor was invited by a Republican Rep. to deliver a prayer, not a sermon to democrats. Total set-up. They should have shut him down, and they did.

Indeed, Trump seems to have managed to divide the nation more than it has been in a century, and he is hardly godly.

It seems inappropriate to use a religious platform to take an anti-abortion position, since such a teaching is not anywhere in the bible.

He was invited to give a prayer, and he gave one. I think he should have chosen a different one more likely to speak to both sides, to attempt to find common ground. But regardless, he did what he was asked to do. Walking out is rude and cowardly.
