Like 2016, he will sell out to the establishment for $$$, with no refunds for his supporters.Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return.

I think at this point in time Bernie Sanders might be the best choice, as he would effectively be unable to pass much of his agenda in the first place. Bloomberg would not be nearly so hamstrung, given that he's more of an authoritarian than anything else and would be able to find plenty of common ground with anybody in Congress. I think they're both terrible candidates, but I think Sanders at least acts in what he believes is good faith."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

Who is your preferred Democratic candidate, given the state of the field today? Feel free to explain why. In your opinion, is there a difference between your preferred candidate and the candidate most likely to win (either the nomination or the election)?Last edited by JimL; 02-19-2020, 04:29 PM.

None of them. 1st and 2nd amendments are deal breakers for me. Though Gabbard appears to be a supporter of the 1st, at least much more so than the authoritarian progressive PC wackaloons, I'm not sure about her stance on the 2nd. But it's probably not good.

It would literally take a gun to my head to vote for any of them. If said gun was at my head I guess it would be Gabbard, but I agree with SeanD, 1st and 2nd Amendments are deal breakers for me."What has the Church gained if it is popular, but there is no conviction, no repentance, no power?" - A.W.
