That is why Islamic ethico-moral principles are tied to Tawheed (Unity) the idea of "One God". In order for justice to flourish, it needs to be based on a concept of equality of all. Tawheed provides this in the form of an idea that God is One and is the Creator of all creation which is equally inferior to God. Thus all humanity is equal (in status) to one another, none superior or inferior. This also means that all human beings, as God's creations, are equally entitled to rights and also have responsibilities. An Afghan has just as much right to the pursuit of happiness, liberty, justice...etc... as an American or Indonesian.....or....
