Even if Sanders would normally give him a boost (which I doubt), it certainly wouldn't now and would go in the opposite direction. Biden previously promised that he would pick a woman to be his vice presidential candidate. There would be considerable blowback if he were to pick Sanders.Originally posted by Starlight View Post

He'd harm his popularity considerably if, after it being promised the position would go to a woman, he were to take it.
