Well deBlasio is a moron, so...

Also, threatening to close down churches permanently just feeds into the paranoia some people have that this is the end times and Satan is trying to stop the church, causing them to be even more defiant and even meet in secret.

I think suspending meetings in person for a short time is the best thing. Using the internet is a good solution, but the more the government tries to enforce it as a law and with threats, the worse they are going to make it.

        • Another Chinese whistleblower has "disappeared".

Dr. Ai Fen, director of emergency management at Wuhan Central Hospital and one of the first doctors to blow the whistle on the coronavirus epidemic at a time when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was desperate to conceal it, has reportedly vanished.

She began speaking out against the CCP two weeks ago, beginning with an interview that Chinese censors relentlessly suppressed.

Ai’s interview in early March was a courageous indictment of Communist Party leadership for concealing the epidemic, and especially for denying that the Wuhan virus could be transmitted between humans. She said doctors in Wuhan knew the virus could pass between humans weeks before the CCP admitted it to the world, and blamed herself for failing to speak out despite orders to keep quiet.

Obama was out golfing while bodies were piling from the swine flu. Does that count?

No. And I strongly recommend you don't even BEGIN to try to compare Obama's golfing with Trump's. You'll lose on all counts.

So Trump has been golfing during this present crisis like Obama was during the Swine flu? Where 61 million Americans were infected and 13 thousand died?

Not that I know of, and I never made anything even resembling that claim. And if Trump plays a round of golf in the next few months, I'll be the last to complain. I have no expectation that any human being will work 24x7 without respite or opportunity to take a break. Going on a golf trip has nothing to do with managing or mismanaging the crisis. It's just bad optics for those small enough to make an issue of such tripe.

Congratulations on yet another "but what about Obama?" What Obama did during the H1N1 flu breakout has NOTHING to do with Trump's mismanagement of THIS crisis. It's just a way to divert the discussion so we are no longer talking about what Trump is doing and instead we're talking about what Obama did 11 years ago.

No it has to do with the hypocrisy of the left - holding Trump to a standard they would never hold Obama to.

I'm not "the left" nor do I speak for them. If you want to respond to them...you should do so when "the left" posts. If you want to respond to me - you should address what I actually say instead of building a strawman out of what "the left" apparently said and then responding to that.

By the way - nice job painting with such a ginormous brush, not to mention cutting out the part of my post you couldn't respond to - not that you did very well with this part either...
