I think San Fran has banned meetings of 50 or more.

Doesn't the Constitution have something to say about this?

I'm always still in trouble again

        • Another note on Rudy Gobert, one of the two NBA players who tested positive:

Sources say that he was nonetheless feeling well enough that he could have played in that evening's game.

Obviously an NBA star is going to be at the very top of any fitness percentile, but nonetheless, this helps put the issue in perspective.

Not the Trump government, for sure. The anti-science, anti-moral, anti expert tom-foolery has finally met the real world where lies, half-truths, and utter ignorance actually have consequences.
My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

The best part is that if Hillary was president and did the exact same things Trump is doing, the media would be telling us how masterfully she's handling the crisis and that there is no reason for alarm. Heck, that's what they said about Obama's lackadaisical response to the swine flu!

                • Peak of epidemic in UK expected in 10 to 14 weeks from now. Advice is to avoid severe isolation measures until really needed. Otherwise they are ineffective.

If maximum crowd size rules violate the First Amendment then that would mean all the fire code laws that set a maximum number of people in a particular location would be a violation as well.

Wow, more speculative crap that doesn't help anyone. Political point scoring, from the heartless fool.

Meanwhile your liar in chief continues to not take the situation seriously, the stock market crashed as the world has no confidence in his leadership (go figure), and continues to lie through his crooked teeth:

Trump: “Frankly, the testing has been going very smooth.” He added: “We have heavily tested.”

Reality: to date there have been 11,000 tests (the majority in the last two weeks) - S. Korea tests 10,000 people, per day. It has a population 1/6 that of the US.

We are three months into a crises that was wholly predictable, the US's abysmal failure to ramp up its response, that is.

This outbreak will probably show which system can handle the overload better, socialized or private healthcare. I bet the socialized healthcare systems are already overloaded because they stay that way even when there isn't a pandemic.
                          S. Korea, socialized medicine, is, and has been, testing 10,000 people a day, hundreds of thousands tested so far. As of tuesday the U.S. has only been able to test 5,000 people. Besides that, the government is going socialist in this case, they are going to pay for the testing and Trump is contemplating the government paying doctors and hospitals to care for those without insurance. Going to be hard to judge which system is best when they are both socialized.

                          • Los Angeles County has called for closing of anything where 150 or more are likely to gather, so Disneyland and other venues will shutdown until further notice.

San Bernardino County have no reported cases, but Barstow Unified School District has cancelled events. I think Barstow also has shut down some things but I can't find the announcement right now. ETA: appears to be just the school district.

If the UK can't contain it, it's time for all countries to ban flights from her.

Maybe if those suffering from TDS hadn't mocked him when he was trying to take action against the Coronavirus months ago and instead took this seriously we might be in a better state of preparation. Thanks.
