I think the Pledge of Allegiance is not only non-Christian, but obviously so. I've been told I'm crazy for thinking that, but I don't think you're all off base.
It was actually written by a socialist to shore up nationalist feelings at a time of questioning of government. I believe my allegiance is to God alone.
