CA Bill Would Make It Illegal For Stores To Display Children's Clothes By Gender

California Democratic Assemblyman Evan Low said he drafted the bill at the behest of an eight-year-old girl.

Sacramento, CA – California lawmakers are considering a bill that would make it illegal for stores to separate children’s clothes and toys according to gender.

Assembly Bill 2826, sponsored by Democratic Assemblyman Evan Low, would abolish “girls’ aisles” and “boys’ aisles” at all retail department stores that employ at least 500 workers, The Sacramento Bee reported.

The stores would be required to display children’s products in a gender-neutral location, “regardless of whether a particular item has traditionally been marketed for either girls or for boys,” according to the bill.

Failure to comply with the new law would result in a fine of up to $1,000.

Meanwhile California cities become more like open sewers each and every passing day. But, hey, let's deal with the important stuff first. Priorities are, after all, priorities.

But if they aren't able to display the clothes as Boy or Girl clothes, how are trend-chasing, Starbucks-swilling parents going to be able to figure out how to dress their kid how they want them to identify?

Does the bill actually have any chance of passing?

They'll just have to follow social media and the MSM as they fawn over the latest "transgender" kindergartener is wearing for their leads.

This would probably be additional incentive to shutdown stores in California and purchase things online.

Tax rates would have to be increased to make up for lost revenue from stores who close down or stop carrying children's clothing.

More clothing will be trashed since many online retailers just trash the clothes that people send back.

California: Letting 8-year-olds make laws. LOL.

Mike, buddy, you need to move before they completely destroy the state. Maybe we can save the rest of the country by luring all the liberals there for a rally, then blowing the San Andreas and quarantine them on an island.

8 year olds don't even know about this crappy gender crap unless adults are pushing them.

                      It makes me sick.

sigh yes it does KG becuase the Democrats are in control of the California Government here were I live in California when it comes to voting for our leaders due to the top to vote getters in the primary moving on to general we normally only have a choice between two Democrats now.

That's what I was wondering. I've seen people post plenty of crazy-looking state bills and say "oh, those wacky Californians!" (or whatever state it's from) but then said bills never even made it to getting voted on.

And then a California Democratic Assemblyman named Evan Lower said all clothing stores should be outlawed.

Right. Nobody has actually demonstrated this; there are a number of states with Democratic control and no such bills have passed, so asserting this proves little. Wacky bills are proposed all the time.

People on here this week have *also* asserted that Trump has a chance of winning California and don't see the cognitive dissonance.
