There are numerous other statements of this sort which all fly in the face of the idea that if you just pray and pay you'll do fine. And if it doesn't work them obviously you didn't pray in the right manner or show enough faith, or make a big enough contribution.
This is my Bible. I am who it says I am. I have what it says I have.

The crucifixion thing is what happens when you give in to fear.

Prosperity theologians make the grievous error of mistaking worldly success for God's blessings, and they are going to be held accountable for every single person who believes them.

Apparently god does help those who help themselves.

You won't find that in the Bible.

          • I just find it funny that movie stars, sports stars and college professors are now considered non-essential and blue collar workers are considered essential. That tells us all we need to know.

It's the business's, not the people that work in them that are considered to be either essential or not essential. Supermarkets are essential, movies, church, and sporting events are not.

What exactly does it tell us?
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. That is what we need to remember when we get through this.

That celebrities are just that. They are entertainers and not "heros" to be idolized as we have done for so many years now.

Especially when those same WoF false teachers are not bothering to heal everybody from the virus and every other sickness and heading to all the hospitals to grow new legs and lungs and other organs for those who need them.

Oh, if only Jesus were here now to dispel the virus from the land! These other guys aren't cutting it.

Who is "we?" You seem to paint with this massively wide brush on a regular basis...

Good point - I completely missed the "college professors" part. I have enormous respect for teachers - but that might be because I am biased, since I'm a teacher!
