Slow day for you? Politicians make slips like this especially when dealing with crises or stumping around the clock or dealing with gazillion reporters yammering at them.

Maybe not the best example to use for this thread given that Trump made the same mistake two months ago

There's many things I don't know. However the conversation you're referring to, from over a year ago IIRC, was a pretty standard example of crazies here like you getting the wrong end of the stick, making mistakes, and then clumsily trying to project your own errors on me. As KG has pointed out, Trump actually did made the mistake that you were falsely accusing me of making.

Sorry, but you made that mistake, about two years ago. Do you not remember making it?

                I thought I made a mistake once -- but I was wrong.

What is mentally wrong with you that you keep a tally of mistakes you think I made years ago and trot them out?

My recollection of the incident is that you loonies were talking about Kansas state, and I said something like "speaking of places named 'Kansas', can we talk about Kansas City for a moment?" (or maybe it was vice versa with you guys talking about Kansas City and me wanting to change the subject to Kansas state) and you loons fell all over in a pile of stupid claiming this showed I didn't know Kansas city wasn't in Kansas state, when I hadn't made any statements about the subject. I recall it only because it was an incident where you loonies seemed to act even more loony than normal, pretending to each other I'd made claims I never had, and then claiming those claims were wrong.

Or I have an extremely good memory and you’re just flustered because you can’t pretend you know everything as you usually do.

Actually, it’s more about pointing out there is two Kansas Cities. One located in Missouri and the other in Kansas. Thing is, I don’t care about being called crazy by the likes of you. It’s a badge of honor to be declared crazy by the king of insanity. Let’s you know you’re on the right track.

Trump's terrible math cannot match Fauci's prediction of the possibility of 100,000 to 200,000 deaths due to coronavirus.

The ridiculousness of Fauci's estimate of 100,000 to 200,000 becomes apparent with basic elementary math. At a fatality rate of 2% it would require 5,000,000 cases of coronavirus.to reach 100,000 deaths.

Check the stats and do the math.

Are you saying 5M cases in the US is implausibly low or implausibly high?

I am not sure what your asking. Based on the number of cases, death rate, and natural bell curve of the history of the coronavirus these figures are utterly ridiculous in the extreme. World total deaths We are not going to have 5,000,000 cases of coronavirus in the USA.

The US seems to be doing a relatively poor job of containing the spread of it and of quarantining affected areas. It appears to be present in all states now. It seems to be relatively easily transmitted by carriers who don't realise they have it. The number of people who have it grows exponentially (or something vaguely close to that). Why wouldn't it be plausible that it spreads to pretty much all areas of all states? 5 million cases would seem to be low-balling the estimates to me. 50 million cases in the US wouldn't surprise me.
