The Trump Administration believes in 'Herd Immunity supposedly practiced by Sweden, but more deliberately than Sweden

The Trump administration by their acts and policy. The refusal to wear masks and distancing by the administration particularly Trump and Pence signal as an example to support this strategy. The Republican governors of Florida and Georgia reinforce this view by there polices when their states are hot with the virus and increasing cases and fatalities. Kind of like a form of eugenics.

Trump urging on opposition demonstrations against the Democratic states further reinforces this, and adds a political motive.

It is too bad that freedom is only seen as a Republican policy.

The deaths of multiple leaders from COVID-19 have taken a massive toll on the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), the largest black Pentecostal denomination in America.

In an article by The Washington Post, various reports of at least a dozen to up to 30 bishops and prominent clergy have died from COVID-19 in COGIC prominent states including Michigan, New York, and Mississippi.

        Let's hear it for freedom!

Yes. That too, roughly speaking. Otherwise, you are a slave to those who make the decisions for you. Lovely.

Interesting that you promote enslavement here. You don't think that the black pentecostals are smart enough to make their own decisions?

I first question whether COVID-19 truly is the cause of death, apart from morbidity factors.

The other point of interest is their ages. Although, it is sad to see leaders of one's church organization die ... and die in a short time frame. These are the ages of many that I found:

              Phillip A. Brooks 88
              Bishop Timothy Scott 88
              Robert E. Smith Sr. 79
              Robert L. Harris. 76
              Charles E. Blake Sr. 70
              Nathaniel Wells 78
              Willie Mae Sheard 84

Some of these died in March and would not have been aided by any quarantine actions anyhow -- if they even had covid-19.
Nor was this demonstrated to result from participating in large religious gatherings, as if this could be a source of causes leading to their deaths.

I did see Ben Shapiro today basically implying that we don't need to care about deaths of anyone whose age is above the average life expectancy.

His wonderful """pro-life""" values at work, as per usual, I guess.

Every time I think I've got a handle on just how deeply immoral US right-wing religious conservatives are, they somehow manage to shock me further.

People die. Have you found a way to stop that from happening? It is sad to see this happen, especially for their contribution to people's lives. It is the mischaracterization of their deaths that makes it a political issue.

There will be more total deaths resulting from the overreaction in the US by doing this quarantine that would have been caused by the coronavirus itself. I suppose that is happier news to you.

Why do you make such a stupid remark? What does that have to do concerning the deaths of these leaders of the Pentecostal church?

A lot of families are being blocked from visiting their relatives in nursing homes. So, many people die without having the last moments with other family members. Is that what level of protection we want?

I am sure you appreciate the hypocrisy of the media for complaining about Trump's avoidance of the mask. The media complained loudly because none of the media who were there had masks on either.

It is also the stupid Democrat governors. I think Cuomo is still awaiting his 40,000 ventilators.

I think everyone has overreacted. But isn't it nice to know that the media won't let the big coronavirus news overcome their desire to denigrate the President every chance they get -- even when the media has to lie to do that? If we really do have a war against coronavirus, shouldn't the press avoid it's politics until things calm down?

I still don't understand your support of the media hypocrsiy and lies in what they are doing. Maybe you can explain that.

Cuomo has a lot to answer for with his decision to force assisted living centers -- where those most vulnerable to the Chicom coronavirus reside -- to accept people testing positive for the virus. How many deaths did that decision result in?

I'm always still in trouble again
