Definitely interesting, but at this point it's strictly in vitro, so calling a "cure" is really premature on their part.

If they can manufacture it, rather than trying to collect plasma from people, then this would be the best interim solution. If it works in the real world.

Antibodies will give you instant immunity for a time, but you will need to keep getting 'booster' shots every so often (monthly?) to replenish the antibodies. Your body can't make it's own antibodies from these antibodies. It has to make them by trial and error by having B-Lymphocytes create antibodies and when one works, that B-lymphocyte is cloned and released into the body to create more of those antibodies.

The above is satire from the Babylon Bee but it is amazing how often the folks on network and cable news stations acted visibly delighted whenever they read a story that cast doubt on the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine. This was especially true for the shoddy VA study.

This is TDS in action. They would rather that hydroxychloroquine not be beneficial so that Trump would be wrong even if it means more deaths.

I posted that Bee piece on Facebook with the comment that the patient should have just had one of his fellow libs smother him with a pillow, since the CDC would still have counted it as a Covid death.

It's crazy how this issue has become so partisan. You'd think something that just might have a ray of hope in all this would be something to at least treat with some positivity. If it turns out to be a real medical cure, this is going to turn out to be one of those realizations (like Covington, Jussie Smollett, etc.) to a whole lot of people just how utterly tribal left and fake the MSM have become in their reporting.
