It is a ridiculous policy that allows only certain businesses to open and others to remain closed.

It is untenable to place companies at risk for bankruptcy while others of the same sort can earn a living. If the government wants to even consider this for the safety of the community, those businesses that are forced to be closed have to be fairly compensated for that shutdown. We did not permit governments to make decisions who can earn a living and who can't -- especially differentiating of individual businesses involved in the same products or services.

It is totally an unconstitutional act by the governors of these states. This now has become pure sedition against the people of the States.

I actually agree with you on this to an extent. The problem is that the business loans which were set up to help these businesses mostly went to the rich and well connected and very little to actual small businesses (and even less to PoC owned businesses). And McConnell cackles.

Not even a loan would suffice here. If the State takes something away for the benefit of the people, the state must reimburse the owner so that the owner has not suffered a loss. Otherwise, this is unfair burden upon that owner ... especially when favored (essential) companies are allowed to thrive.

I mean, even better if it's not a loan. I think you will find 10x the resistance from the GoF than from the Democrats on that though.

Ah. A term used by communists against the Nazi socialists

If you are trying to use this term for American politics, both parties have become facist. Actually the large corporations appear to have taken control of the federal government. I don't know if there is any way out of this apart from God's intervention. However, there is a chance that we can preserve freedom if we recognize the evil actions being done as part of the coronavirus politics.

Does government at all levels work for the benefit of the people or the corporations? I think it's more the latter and what we think are political conflicts are actually corporations fighting it out for control.

Can't she and her customers just claim that they are holding protest meetings?

A classic case of the government picking winners and losers.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
