Milley's first allegiance, like your own was as a soldier, is to the Constitution, not to your senior officer and that entire action at Lafayette Square violated the 1st amendment of the Constitution. Milley shouldn't have been there, and neither should have Trump been there via gasing peacefully protesting civilians. Milley didn't disobey, he should have, but he didn't, he simply stated he shouldn't have been there, Worse is the fact that Trump ordered them, Milley and Esper, to accompany him. Atty Gen. Barr is another story, we already know how corrupt he's shown himself to be. I wonder what it is Trump has on him?

There are those rare times when standing up to someone no matter who it is, is absolutely the right thing to do. And the fact that Milley is far from the only military leader, retired or active duty to say that Trump is violating the people's rights should tell you something about him
