I was assured by the highly credible RWNJ media that the odds of this were slim to none.

Royce Lamberth isn't Mexican. I was curious about who appointed him, though--it was Reagan, if it matters.

It doesn't matter to me. Heck, I wouldn't have thought anything better / worse about the judge if he'd ruled differently.

For the record, the "Mexican" quip was a silly reference to Gonzalo Curiel.

Yay. Let's hope it's the beginning of the end of the Trump curse on the world.
My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

Nah. It'll be handwaved away pretty quickly. 'Bolton is just an angry ex employee' or 'theres no video tape of the events happening - with Trump's signature proving it's authentic - therefore we can't prove with 100% certainty what he describes is accurate, therefore we'll go with the whole thing was a lie and didn't happen'

You know as well as I do that this will not get anywhere, at least in here and other heavily right wing circles. Hopefully there's some independents out there (actual independents, not just ppl who almost exclusively vote republican but insist on calling themselves independents) who will take some of this on board, not that any of it is a surprise to anyone actually paying attention.

Have you read the judge's decision? It wasn't exactly a win for Bolton.

I know, but who cares about Bolton and his profits. A win is a win is a win, and Trump loses.

Which is to say that you didn't read the order.

If it is found that Bolton's book contains even a single sentence of classified material, then he won't get a dime.

You're acting like it was a win for Bolton. It wasn't.

Bolton thinks it's a win for him, and you'll pardon my brashness, but his opinion kinda trumps yours on this issue...

                            Bolton was wrong."

If that's Bolton winning then I can't wait to see what it looks like when he loses!

The judge's opinion that there'd be no injunction on the book?

                              I suppose, sure.

The court ruling was an obvious win for Bolton.

To make a much less serious analogy: When I was in college, the student newspaper printed a full "shake sheet" before every home basketball game that we would hold up and shake when the other team's starting lineup was announced. One year, when we played Kansas State, they printed a picture of their coach, Bob Huggins (who had been arrested for DUI) in a prison outfit. Huggins demanded the paper be retracted, but what were they going to do? Go to every dorm room and demand everyone hand it over?
"I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill
