They represent symbolism of the origins of America, whether good or bad. Vandalizing Lincoln, Grant, Cervantes shows they don't care about BLM or slaves, but want to wipe out American symbolism in general (hence pro-Marxism). Now we're assuming of course that they're actually not just unintelligent, uneducated mobs who don't know that Lincoln actually freed the slaves. Public education might make that argument plausible.

An armed man who works as an airport police officer was on the roof of a building overlooking the Robert E. Lee monument in Richmond, Virginia, that has been the site of frequent protests.

The man, Riley O’Shaughnessey, a 38-year-old white male who works as an officer with the Richmond International Airport Police Department, was taken into custody Saturday morning, Richmond police said in a statement.
