Wow, talk about "reading into something" that's not there.

Even Texas is only 2 points apart, and Biden has a strong lead in Florida and now leads (just barely) in NC, as well as all three of the states that turned the 2016 tide.

Still 4 months to go - so still a lot of time for "stuff" to happen, but right now "stuff" appears to mostly be happening to Mr. Trump. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy...IMO
Which, again, makes me wonder if he's just tired of the job and wants to be kicked out, while appearing to be fighting to stay.

In fact I find the whole video hilarious, a bunch of old people in golf carts.
The issue was not "one man in one cart." The issue was Trump intentionally retweeting a video containing such a message.

Try the "how would I react if" test. So imagine Obama was the one who just retweeted a video containing two black guys cheering him and calling out "black power!" Do you find yourself equally dismissive? If so - then it truly is a non-issue for you. If not - then your position is disingenuous.

Either of these is, IMO, a problem for you.

Trump tweets EVERYTHING -- Obama never did, much. (Did he at all?)

One of my biggest complaints is the fact that he tweets so much nonsense. I seriously doubt that he actually watched the video, or knew the full content. He just tweets and tweets and tweets.

No - he didn't. But the point is not to compare Trump with Obama. The point is to check a position for bias by asking oneself what one's reaction would be if the same thing was done by "the other guy." It's how I sanity check a position I hold for traces of "TDS" or any other bias. It's not a perfect system - but it at least gets me thinking.

I frankly don't know. There are several possibilities. What you propose is certainly one and fits with his knee-jerk style. Another is that he likes to dominate the news cycle and stir up controversy, so he did it intentionally with the intention of claiming "I didn't know" and then watching the opposing factions go at it. It keeps him in the headlines, which he likes; dominating the news cycling is part of his SOP. There is also the possibility that he was genuinely expressing a racist sentiment because he is indeed racist. While I believe he is indeed racist, I don't believe he is THAT stupid.

On the contrary, he's an extremely successful businessman. What he's not is a politician who has spent decades cultivating a slick public image to conceal who he really is. With Trump, what you see is literally what you get.

Do you have any idea how many businesses Trump has started or has a controlling interest in? It's in the hundreds. That so few have failed is a heck of a track record.

A history worse than working with southern racists to enforce black segregation. Let's hear about that history, shunny, then, as a black man myself, I'll let you let you know if Trump's a real racist or not. I want to hear actual history, not goofy claims of him sending out secret racist code to his nonexistent white supremacist base. Real history against the black race. Go!

"EVERYTHING" includes retweets of a video in which the "white power" statement was made, but "everything" sounds a bit better, so that is how you like to describe it.

And again to focus on him tweeting "nonsense" sounds better than what he actually does, which is to tweet lies, dehumazing talks and recently he retweeted a video with the "white power" statement. But you prefer to call it "nonsense". Why are you so afraid of calling all of this by its' proper name?

I understood he was more inclined to put his name on things and not pay his contractors. Fact is we do not know the extent of Trump's wealth [or not] as he will not divulge his tax returns.

However we know that Jeff is a lot richer than Donald - hence part of Donald's ire towards Amazon.

If Obama did that, he would be praised as someone who cares about Black Lives and is promoting racial equality and Black Lives Matter.

Again, this video was about more than one guy at the beginning shouting "White Power" - that was not the central theme or focus of the video. The MSM is making it out as if the video is promoting white supremacy as if Trump retweeted the Grand Dragon giving a racist speech to the KKK.

Trump's tax returns are a red herring. You want to know Trump's financial standings? Go look up his comprehensive financial disclosure reports that he has been required by law to release every year since he started running for and serving as President. The media never reports on them because there is absolutely nothing in them that's even slightly controversial. They're public record, too, so if you want to dig into them yourself and see if there's anything the hacks in the liberal media might have missed then have at it.
