That doesn't necessarily mean that she thought or believed he was a scientist --- we just get that as a pretty standard reply from the alarmists.

It seems you have more skills than I possess. I can only respond to what she wrote, not what she thought or believed!

        Yeah, what can I say?

You must know her extraordinarily well to be able to comprehend her unexpressed thoughts.

Not at all. Merely responding to what you have written!

I'm kidding. About you looking for a fight. It's a nice quiet Sunday evening, and I'm enjoying the solitude.

Lovely here right now. Some cloud but the moon is beautiful. Enjoy your solitude.

Moon was beautiful last night, but had an interesting "halo" around it due to the Sahara dust cloud still over the area.

Try "You're right. I can't read her mind, no matter how long I've known her".

Or would that require a prohibitive amount of humility / integrity?

The issue is there was reference, nor discussion of the research, and information on climate trends over time whether the person is a scientist or not. It was simply an awkward emotional appeal testimonial, an apology?, against global warming.

Do you ALWAYS have to be such a jerk? We're KIDDING here. (at least, I am!)

I did. I omited the acute accent over the "e".

You should get some photos of that moon. Dust can create some very interesting atmospheric effects. Often quite stunning.

I used to have a very good Nikon camera, but I've become way too reliant on my iPhone -- nowhere near as good pics.

I may have to dig out the old SLR equipment again.
