I'm guessing that, loosely-interpreted, meant "relax, be happier".
Hmmmmm.... hadn't thought of it like that.

    Maybe!!!

That looks like what we would call "fatback".

I love it. Slice it up and fry it in the oven, serve with potatoes and parsley sauce.

Ooh! That looks like what we call fresh side pork!

It's uncured and makes the best bacon sandwiches ever!

My wife baked us some of that just the other day, and we had some wonderful BT Sandwiches with home-grown FRESH hothouse tomatoes!

You just have to be careful of the rind. That is my mantra when I cook some of that up. Don't want broken teeth!

Our store used to sell it rind free, which was nice, but I haven't seen it like that in a long time.

I don't know - it doesn't look like real bacon. Tofu? And how did my deeply profound and insightful thread turn into a bacon thread?

You clearly did. You said "this is what we need now," and it was in response to CP's post about looting and rioting. I find it pathetic that a guy not from America is advocating for more violence in this country. Don't you think that's a little strange?

I think the other was just a really bad photo, it looked much redder than I thought it would. Here this is better. Many danes bake the whole side of bacon like this.
