Thank you. Yes, please go away. Creationists who think they’re smart are boring.

CNN and MSNBC are bad sources for news. FOX too, but for more bizarre reasons that relate to sex and the subconscious. Hence, illuminated legs.
I don't really see much of Fox or any TV news channels, but I don't recall any of them showing legs. What are you even talking about? Almost everyone is shown from the shoulders up.

ETA: OK, I found some legs. Ooops, NBC

He also pioneered under desk lights:

        https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/...nd/2146254002/

"At the launch of Fox News, "Divide and Conquer" reveals that short skirts were advocated for female anchors, with lights put under desks to show off their legs. "Cleavage is low, hems are high," says Bloom, adding that in the Fox News orbit, "women were worthy entertainment. And the only thing standing between the viewer and the apocalyse are these hot babes in tight dresses and old white men who represent the Fox audience. It’s this great cocktail of sex and fear."
Of course, I totally appreciate this being completely normal and seeing nothing wrong with sexual fantasization.

What's creepy is the man decried the pornographication of America by perverted liberal elites. He was a man of God, you see.

Ya know, whag, just about the time I think you're a decent guy, you post this kind of crap. Weren't you one of the guys who was mocking me for adhering to the Billy Graham rule?

That’s a more apt description of what Ailes was doing, which he is on the record as saying.
You do realize that Fox News is not a Church, and Ailes is not a pastor, yes?

He runs a business that earns its money from viewers watching, and "sex sells".

What? I wasn't saying you did that! I was being sarcastic by saying there's no comparison to "appreciating the female form" and what Ailes has admitted doing to titillate male Christian viewers.

And I do remember that Graham thing, and if I said what I think I did, I humbly apologize.

Yes, but I also point out the comedy of his advocating family values while instigating erections. The family values thing is meant to deceive right wing nutters. I thought you were okay with highlighting ideological nuttery on all sides.

Exactly. And that's okay provided the purveyor of sex isn't also decrying the pornographication of the nation by liberal elites.

I was HOPING it was sarcasm, but, sheeeeeesh, these days ya never know.

Accepted. I take that very personally, because the two ways pastors get in trouble have historically been sex and money.
(So far, I have a good long reputation both as a pastor and a husband of ... um.... 45 years next week! That's not by accident. )

Unfortunately, it has been all to common for preachers (or conservatives) to harp on the things they're guilty of themselves.

I wasn't aware of that part - I really don't know much about Ailes except he seemed to be... um... "handsier" than Sleepy Joe by a significant factor.

Tell ya what: watch the A&E documentary “Divide and Conquer” then you’d be better informed to have this discussion. It was worse than just being “handsy.” He tried to blacklist and ruin the careers of dozens of women. It wasn’t just groping and enforced fellatio.

Then watch A&E’s “The Clinton Affair” to feel all fair and balanced. A&E exposed Clinton for the rapist he is, which you should find refreshing since it’s not exactly a conservative network.

I have no reason not to take your word for it, and don't really care to follow up on it.

I knew I was going to get blowback on that --- I started to say something like EXPONENTIAL factor or... yeah, no defense of him whatsoever.

Again, no interest in that whatsoever, but I was aware of that situation. I mean, "The Clinton Affair" on A&E.

                    It's disgusting to admire a woman's legs?

This, I think, says far more about you than about any of us. Apparently you can't see a woman's exposed calf without immediately having sexual fantasies, which is your problem, not ours.

It says more about you that you’re silent about Ailes, who forced women to give him fellatio and tried to destroy their careers if they didn’t. You’re obviously embarrassed.
