  • Trump says doctors "vey surprised" by his cognitive test results.

Yesterday on Fox, Trump bragged that he "aced" a cognitive exam, which "surprised" the doctors, who told Trump that he had accomplished an "unbelievable thing".

What this means is that Trump knew such facts as:

    - the letter B is the 2nd letter of the alphabet
    - he was able to identify a drawing as being a camel
    - he knew that trains and bicycles are both transportation devices
    - he knew the date and the name of the city where he took the exam

and was able to perform tasks such as

    - draw a clock and place the 12 numbers in the correct place
    - repeat back the sentence "I only know that John was the one to help today." when it was read out to him

Are you curious to know if, like Trump, you have a "very, very large brain" which makes you a "stable genius"? To find out, go to the following website and take the Montreal Cognitive Assessment for yourself:

I wouldn't doubt for a second that Trump placed below normal on the cognitive test scale, but if there's one thing he does remember it's how to fire people who don't lie for him.

Somehow, scoring a 'perfect' score on a test designed to detect early onset Alzheimer's would hardly be something to brag about ...

The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) was created in 1996 as a screening tool for mild cognitive dysfunction, including early onset Alzheimer’s. It assesses concentration, attention, memory, language, calculations, orientation, executive functions and visual skills.

What it may well mean is that his doctors and those around him are concerned enough about him they gave him this test to try to determine if he was suffering from one of these ailments. Trump, of course, is not quite savvy enough to understand that, and so is bragging about his 'success' ...

I think the better report would be that the doctors were not surprised that Trump was found to be smarter than anyone in Congress.

I think it more probable, knowing Trumps penchant for lying, that he probably never even took the test, he just had them give him a perfect score or else.

Perhaps, as happened with his SAT exam (according to Trump's niece), Trump paid someone else to write the exam for him.

Right, that's what it means if you're a delusional anti-Trump nutcase.

The real question is, would Joe O'Biden Bama score as well?

No makes this claim except Trump and those that worship him. He also claimed to be the more physically fit than Obama, but considers exercise unhealthy except riding around in a golf cart. He has the belief in the 'battery theory' of life's energy, or called 'the golf cart battery theory'

                Source: https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/08/politics/donald-trump-exercise-health-physical/index.html

For the uninitiated: Trump ascribes to what has been described as the "battery" theory of, um, life force. Evan Osnos, in a profile of Trump in the New Yorker a few years back, described it thusly: "Other than golf, he considers exercise misguided, arguing that a person, like a battery, is born with a finite amount of energy."
Exercise, other than golf, of course, is viewed by Trump as an unnecessary drawing down of your battery life.
This, from the book "Trump Revealed" by Washington Post reporters Michael Kranish and Marc Fisher, explains Trump's theory in a bit more detail:

"After college, after Trump mostly gave up his personal athletic interests, he came to view time spent playing sports as time wasted. Trump believed the human body was like a battery, with a finite amount of energy, which exercise only depleted. So he didn't work out. When he learned that John O'Donnell, one of his top casino executives, was training for an Ironman triathlon, he admonished him, 'You are going to die young because of this.'"

And then there's was this, from a 2015 New York Times magazine profile of Trump:
"Trump said he was not following any special diet or exercise regimen for the campaign. 'All my friends who work out all the time, they're going for knee replacements, hip replacements -- they're a disaster,' he said. He exerts himself fully by standing in front of an audience for an hour, as he just did. 'That's exercise.'"
During the 2016 campaign, Trump released scant details about his medical history. His longtime personal doctor, Harold Bornstein, released a letter in December 2015 proclaiming that: "If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency." (At 70, Trump was the oldest president ever elected to a first term.)

Someone is supposed to give you the test. If you take it by yourself then you will grade it yourself, and I would always give myself a big brain that way.

Honestly, of the five words I read and were supposed to repeat back, I forgot two. Yikes!

It could be that, or it could have been an election strategy. Trump has made remarks a number of times about Biden's cognitive health (since this is pretty obvious to pretty much everyone). If Trump took such a test, why not have Biden take it, and if he refuses, what is he hiding, might be the strategy they're using.

Joe has failed many of these tests.

They are given by the media, and we all have seen and judged his mental feebleness. A few, like here, try to defend the indefensible. And it's really not all that funny or entertaining. He should have rode off into the sunset.

If Trump is telling the truth, then the doctors who administered the exam were "surprised" that Trump knew that the letter A was the first letter of the alphabet, and that he knew what a camel looked like, and that he knew the name of the city where he wrote the exam, and that he was able to solve the math problem 100 - 7 in his head, and so on.

Frankly, I, too, am a bit surprised that Trump could answer all these questions without assistance. Assuming, of course, that he actually wrote the exam, and that he wasn't coached before hand on the questions that would be on the test.

No, but he was able to lift the glass to his mouth using only 2 hands.
