Good point. I also think that Civics 101 is somewhat too USAcentric in its threads. It is almost as if the wider world did not exist.

I would agree some are fixated upon America.

It is also good to mark the memory of attempted genocides of the past. It was good the world intervened.

Looking back through your thread you were the first to raise the question of Christian theology at post #48 when you asked "Can you tell me which teachings of Christ they were following? Be specific..." In response to comments about persecuting the Jews etc. I merely pointed out that the persecution of the Jews goes back to texts found in the NT which contain distinct anti-Judaic/Semitic elements.
