            Well, every time I think of Trump I get mildly nauseous. And I don't watch him speak much anymore. It just makes my blood boil too much. But the key to all of this appears to be "irrational." None of my thoughts or feelings about Trump are "irrational."

              First, why does that necessarily follow?

              Second, it is a small subset of the people protesting who are engaging in violence. But they seem to get all of the focus, and they are taking the focus off the true objectives of the peaceful protesters.

              Actually, what is happening now is that people have become so fed up with systemic racism, and broken promises to fix it, that they are loudly protesting. A small percentage are doing that violently. Another small percentage are taking advantage of the situation to act out. And another small percentage is being instigated by far-right extremists seeking to provoke violence.

                          In my experience, Trump Derangement Syndrome can be found in both Roadkill-Hair's Fans and Foes... Some folks are as deranged in their support of Trump as others are in their opposition of the Cheeto-Dome. ETA: Basically, either he can do no wrong or do no right.

                            No, the problem is that whether or not he does anything right he's still a treasonous, lawless, anti-democratic, authoritarian, enemy of the state. Call that TDS if you will, it doesn't bother me.
