The reverse is true Trump has shown indifference to the severity of the pandemic and the fatalities, at least, until recently when his Southern States get hit hard.

By the way a Duke research project documented the usefulness of face maske.All your bandana is good for is robbing banks, but the other masks were effective depending on design with N45 being,of course the best of the commonly used.

The state of Kansas also did a study, well it wasn't actually a study, it just worked out that way. Half of the counties in Kansas mandated the use of masks while the other counties did not. The counties that mandated the use of masks a had far less infection rate than those counties who didn't make it mandatory.

Hopefully this will wake us up and we will live a healthier life. Less smoking cigarettes, cigars, and weed. Less alcohol, more exercise, take vitamins, get more fresh air and sunlight. More fruits and veggies and lean meats and fish. Less carb laden garbage. My wife's epidemiologist friend told us "healthier people suffer little to no after effects of coronaviruses. Unhealthy and susceptible people suffer much more"

Alcohol and drug usage has sharply increased with bored folks stuck at home indulging more frequently. I expect we'll experience a noticeable increase in alcoholism and addiction rates after this is over.

Common sense should tell you the reason for the more recoveries is because there are more cases. More recoveries is nothing to bragg about.
