Now the extreme left Karens are making an appearance. In San Diego, a woman assaulted an unmasked couple with tear gas. The victims amazingly kept their composure and let this women get away. No word yet on whether assailant has been found.

If the latter, that’s a horrible way of communicating their point—especially in this political climate. Is that the way you’d express anti-Nazi sentiment? By wrapping a big swastika around your face?

States with mandates require people to wear masks in indoor public spaces, public transit and ride-hailing services, and outdoors when it’s impossible to maintain 6 feet of distance from others.

Yes, and I'm not sure how that makes it any better since it's just an extension of "no true scotsman fallacy." The embrace of overtly racist symbols is dangerous whether or not someone carries the membership card.
