    Interesting, Nick.

    Thanks
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

The only thing I believe Constantine had a hand in in terms of Christianity is that he made it legal through the edict of Milan that ended the persecution of Christians. Other then that as you state his hand in Christianity is little to none.

Bart Ehrman is correct it was the Roman and Greek Church Church Fathers compiled and edited it before the Council of Nicea. I believe that the Council of Nicea would be more in the role of deciding the doctrine and dogama that divided Christiainity at the time. I believe Constantine attended the first day and was involved with the discussions.

What is the issue with Ehrman's comments on Constantine and Nicaea? Do we know the viewpoints of those people who have asked him whether the canon was established at Nicaea?

Given what I have heard and read from Christians over the years quite of few of them have some rather uninformed ideas about why that first council was convened or history of their religion prior to that moment.

I heard that Constantine had orange skin and a really bad blonde comb over.

I'm always still in trouble again

And he tweeted to the dismay of all the people. It just wasn't the internet tweets that we have now.
