And those Americans who fought the British Empire for independence were quite aware and accepted that if they were caught by the British that a quick death was the best they could hope for. They didn't whine and cry when this happened like the antifa thugs blubber when they get arrested and are typically released without charges by local officials.

The stormtroopers were sent to Portland on July 4th, and I don't recall any attacks on the federal courthouse prior to that. Perhaps you have evidence to the contrary. At any rate, there is no doubt that the violence has excalated, not subsided, since the stormtroopers arrived, and that is all in accord with the authoritarians plan.
