      Poignant statement

The deluded war supporters won't see it, I'm sure, but this is one of the most telling quotes I've seen so far:

In Nashville, Tenn., Peter Fossel, a 57-year-old former Marine, wore a Purple Heart he won in the Vietnam War as he joined about 300 anti-war protesters outside a federal building.

"This America is not the America that I bled for,'' Fossel said. "This America is the aggressor, and this America is the type of nation that I risked my life to fight against.''

Obviously the poor man did too many drugs during the 60's if he thinks Vietnam was honorable.

Let's not get all bent yet. Despite all the dire predictions of thousands of casualties, there isn't likely going to be much blood spilled in this action.

Well in retrospect, how much blood is "much?"

My most recent faith struggle is not one of intellect. I don't really do that anymore. Sooner or later you just figure out there are some guys who don't believe in God and they can prove He doesn't exist, and some other guys who can prove He does exist, and the argument stopped being about God a long time ago and now it's about who is smarter, and honestly, I don't care. ~ Don Miller Blue Like Jazz

I am a war supporter and I did get it. Like Woman said the guy is smoking something fierce to make Vietnam honorable and this war dishonorable.
      Have you the brain worms?!

Or eother of them really honerable. After all the regime in Viet Nam was pretty nasty as well so the same justification that is being used now of "liberation" is just as true.

Actually, the "domino theory" was the most pressing reason given for Vietnam.
In reaction to Richwine Affair, all right-thinking people are quick to proclaim that they don’t believe in a genetic basis for IQ. They’re much less quick to explain – with any sort of precision – what they actually do believe in. At best, we’re treated to some hand-waving paired with the phrase “social construct.”.
