Re: I am tiling my house
Well our old wireless phone broke (we had it about ten years) and we had to get new ones and we wanted to get those way cool 2.4 ones but we couldn't cause it would interfere with my LinkSys wireless sytem, so we had to go 5.8 and those were not nearly as cool.

Re: I am tiling my house
Aw, man, I just saw all the pics on this thread just now. I really really REALLY dig those baseboards. I mean REEEEELLLLYY. Baseboards are like jewelry. Ya can't have a really cool outfit on without the right accessories. I just hate it when people don't pay attention to their baseboards and do all kinds of cool stuff in their house and then go with generic baeboards. I am a huge fan of tile, as well as wide baseboards. Good choice, DDW.
I am also coveting the filing cabinet completely.
That is kick-butt.
I am not into a contemporary look when decorating, but I do like it in other people's homes, and I really dig your coffeetable and how you tied it all together with the rug. That looks tite. Good job, DDW!

Re: I am tiling my house
Ohh I forgot to post pics of my new office chair here. Maybe I will take some new ones. Well we put on a new roof - our roof is asphalt shinges, it was the old style three tab shingles, but we put on Timberlake dimensional shingles as a replacement. We decided also to replace another ceiling fan in the "guest" room (my hubby's room for his stuff) with the three blade modern fan. I am wanting to put another fixture in the living room.

Re: I am tiling my house
Well I got another fixture for the LR but my hubby didn't like it so we brought it back. We bought today a new patio outdoor light fixture - it is really nice, I like it a lot. When it is off I will post before and after pics of that one too. We are replacing the hardware on our doors soon. We found what we like at Lowe's but they didn't have it in stock. We are adding also a kickplate to one side of our patio that didn't have it. Bought the wrong part - sigh - need to go back to Lowe's.

Re: My Home Remodel thread
Which Dali prints are you getting? I went to Allposters.com to look him up, I like the memory one and the rose. I looked up an artist that I found out about in the Czech Republic that I like, A. Mucha, there are some neat art nouveau type of posters that are on there. We have one of his to do with 'Sarah Bernhardt, La Dame au Camelias', which I picked up at a used store place.

We are getting Christ of St. John of the Cross and the Last Supper. We want to have predominantly Christian themed art in our home
I love "The Persistance of Memory" but my husband is not into that stuff - says it makes us look like we do acid on the weekendsNochyu mokraya ptitsa nikogda ne letaet.

Re: My Home Remodel thread
I saw the 'Christ of the St. John of the Cross' after and I knew a nurse who had a print or painting much like that, I thought it real neat, Christ looking down on the world from the cross.
