God can be blown away by a mere breath. Mystical doctors tell us that the presence of God can sometimes be almost "subliminal". Those of us who are not great mystics can contemplate the passage from the Hebrew Scriptures in which Jacob - rascall and scoundrel that he is - fights God at midnight until the dawn. That dreadful battle concludes with God declaring to Jacob that "You have struggled with God and humans and you have prevailed."
What deity - such as Zeus- ever made such a grand and self-subverting statement? Can anyone imagine that any godlet or godling come in off of the street could ever utter such a thing?
The outerlimits of God's omnipotence are expressed not in a grandiose success. They are expressed in utter ruin. That God has the capacity to loose is a sure sign of his strength.
