GLSEN "Day of Silence" in schools tomorrow (April 9th)

Be aware that this will be going on tomorrow in our schools and universities:

GLSEN Begins Countdown to 2003 Day of Silence

Christians should take this opportunity to make some noise for the Lord and spread the Gospel while those who would silence us are themselves silent. Let's show people the redeeming love of Jesus and fight the normalization and acceptance of sin.
GONE FOR GOOD BECAUSE THE MODS ARE FRICKIN' RETARDS

Maybe Christians should also have a moment of silence for preaching there message in such a way as to breed divisiness, anger, violence, and death.
      Meh.

Jinx, can and will do! Maybe there should be a day of silence against all that crap the professors pour out against people's beliefs.

Amen. I think too many Christians are caught up in the Christianity = free market mentality. However, there are hundreds of issues that Christians should come out in numbers to protest against, and I think we're not as inconsistent as some would claim. I think Christians should be at the forefront of the environmentalist movement.
"We live in a culture that has, for centuries now, cultivated the idea that the skeptical person is always smarter than one who believes. You can be almost as stupid as a cabbage, as long as you doubt. The fashion of the age has identified mental sharpness with a pose, not with genuine intellectual method and character...Today it is the skeptics who are the social conformists, though because of powerful intellectual propaganda they continue to enjoy thinking of themselves as wildly individualistic and unbearably bright."
