Re: How did you find TWeb?
Cello one forum I used to participate on I don't really mention anymore due to a severe falling out there, but I used to particapate at CARM, CWS, ChristianForums, TheologyForums and still do occasionally as well as reading numerous other forums and registered/sometimes participating. I also participate at RaptureReady and I think it is called apologetics forum or something similar.

Re: How did you find TWeb?
Not enough options - wouldn't that fall within "invited by another member"? or saw on another site?

It would have been cool to have that but I was only allowed six options.

The only downside, to me, is the format of these forums, and CARM, and those like it.
I am hooked on the delphi or gojabber format as I find it much easier to follow the conversations. Here I get a bit lost on who is replying to who and the messages getting buried....do a quick click on the link in my sig to see a delphi forum, how the posts can be made to a specific person and post numbers reference say #11.2 in reply to #11.2 or #11.8 in reply to 11.3 -- so poster know who is replying to who in a thread - there is also the option of selecting the persons name on the actual post -- it does make it a lot easier to follow...LOL. Maybe that can go on the wishlist here. ? :)
By the way -- I have to laugh at how 'indignant' I was when you IMd me out of the blue, I was like -- Heeeeey! Where'd you get my name? You responded - "uhh, I dunno. Somewhere" (apparently you were grabbing names off various fora you attended or something but of course had no idea where you got some of the names - meaning which forum in particular or whatever). When I declined, your final reply was "Can't blame a gal for trying"
I thought, nope, I guess you can't. :)) I'm glad to be here. Thanks.Grace and peace,
Cello

Alas I don't have time for that much anymore, but it was something I did quite regularly. But since I would take down an AIM handle and it could be weeks before I ever saw that person online I really had no way of knowing where I got it from. Back then I surfed all over the place on the Net, seeing new sites, meeting new people, and trying to market the site, so generally I didn't know exactly where I got any particular name.

Actually my path here was a bit convoluted. I was looking for some information on abstinence education on the Lutherans For Life site and followed their link to Stand to Reason and then I followed the link at Stand to Reason and just had to find out why someone named Dee Dee Warren would be happy if I registered here.
I've had a lot of fun and gotten much valuable fellowship and education here at T-Web. Where else can you talk about eschatology or debate views on Holy Communion, then get into another room and discuss gross food? It's a place where we can be real and human and that's the beauty of it."Your eyes beheld my unformed substance. In your book were written all the days that were formed for me, when none of them as yet existed" - Psalm 139:16 (NRSV)

Found it in a google search by accident when doing research on a paper. I also found a great number of other refugee types from another bbs that isn't as cool as this one.

Re: How did you find TWeb?
Upon travelling the information highway for many months, searching for answers to objections raised by skeptics, my attention was drawn to an oasis of sorts: Tektonics.org.
From there I gradually learned what I could about Christianity and eventually found lots of other cool places. Then I came here from the link at the Tekton home page."Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen." Book of Common Prayer, p. 236
