Well, I found the forum simply from www.opentheism.info under the "discuss" link.

That verse deals with whether or not the Mosaic food laws are still in force. The TWeb site that I stumbled over had a very wide range of comments about the subject, and I was impressed by the scholarly nature of some of the comments, so here I am! For those of you who are interested in that verse, I firmly believe that the food laws are still valid, and the comment after Mark 7:19, which most definitely is not in the original Greek, is a glaring example of the antiSemitic, anti-Old Testament leaning attitude of the majority of English Bible translators, who brazenly added the comment.
      ## Acts 15 & various Pauline remarks, OTOH... - not to mention that Gentiles were not under the Law...

      Christianity.com has discussions like that

      *checks*

Oh, your postbit says you joined Tweb in 2003, the same day I did. At the time of your post (2010), you had been here for about 7 years, not 5.

Time flies when you're having fun, or something.

      What is that in metric?
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

      Dee Dee's podcast.
You believe the Devil is bound with a real chain, but near/soon isn't literal? Can't decide if you're figuratively or literally ironic.

Re: How did you find TWeb?

I did a google search on "preterism" and got beyond wikipedia and then went link then link then link then I was here. At first I was like WTH....(wot the heck) but I did a little reading and thought to myself, this place is pretty cool.

I also remembered, after a little reading, that several years ago I saw a related site about a preterist podcast and I listened to several of those podcasts at that time. I think the preterist blog here is related to the same person who did those podcasts that I listened to back then.

Anyway, seems interesting. I'm a Christian and a pan-millenialist (it will all pan out in the end) and I bid you all peace.
