Male - ChristianityBodies of woman and infant found in CA
The two bodies were found one day apart on the same beach near San Francisco. The infant still had his umbilical cord attached. Is this Lacy Peterson and her unborn child? The official line is that it could take days or even weeks to find out, but how likely is it that this isn't them? We should have a better idea of how long the two bodies were likey in the water as a specialist in marine decomposition will be performing a second autopsy.

Discuss. Here's my thoughts:
I think the police knew he did it and had evidence, but were simply waiting for him to crack or for the bodies to show up. (As they say, there's nothing more difficult than trying to prove murder without a body - there will always be that "reasonable doubt.") Of course, the guy was such a bonehead that he pretty much gave away the fact that he did it almost from the beginning. I mean, come on. When someone's pregnant wife is missing and they truly don't know what happened, you don't go and sell her vehicle and buy yourself a shiny new truck. Wouldn't you be ticked off if, after you were missing (kidnapped, for instance) and returned home safely, you found out your spouse went and sold your vehicle and bought a new vehicle for themself? He also apparently attempted or was looking into selling the house. In all this, his actions were not of someone who had hope of his wife and child returning safely.
