Baseball!
The 2003 baseball season is underway! How many baseball fans do we have in here, and what's your team? I'm a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan, but I won't hold it against ya if you don't like them.

I am a Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks fan. :-)
I refuse to comment on the Braves on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

What's baseball?
It's odd how one's memories of youth turn out so bleak. Why does the business of growing up - one's recollections of growth itself - have to be so tragic? I still haven't found the answer. I doubt if anyone has. When I finally reach thar stage at which the placid wisdom of old age, with the dry clarity that comes toward autumn's end, occasionally descends on a person, then I too may suddenly discover that I too understand. But I doubt whether, by that time, understanding will have much point. ~Yukio Mishima

Boston Red Socks fan here. Though since I live in Detroit now I have been going to a lot of Tigers games. I can't wait until next month when the have home games scheduled on Monday afternoon becaue Mondays are my day off!
What's great bout that is Tigers games are poorly attended so I can by the $5 tickets and then move all the way down to the front row usually!"Yes, I'm quite concerned about health care issues surrounding leaked radiation from Japan. Now, please pass me my super sized, bacon double cheeseburger, combo meal..."

My most recent faith struggle is not one of intellect. I don't really do that anymore. Sooner or later you just figure out there are some guys who don't believe in God and they can prove He doesn't exist, and some other guys who can prove He does exist, and the argument stopped being about God a long time ago and now it's about who is smarter, and honestly, I don't care. ~ Don Miller Blue Like Jazz

My team is the Royals. 11-1 so far.

Go Tampa Bay Devil Rays (who needs pitching?)!
I like the Braves in the other league. I was a Braves fan stretching back to the Phil Niekro era.
Glavine pitching for the Mets is just wrong, btw.Capt. Ochre

I haven't followed the Devil Rays much this year, but I always hope the low-market teams do well.Captain Ochre:
