Natural Science 301 Guidelines

This is an open forum area for all members for discussions on all issues of science and origins. This area will and does get volatile at times, but we ask that it be kept to a dull roar, and moderators will intervene to keep the peace if necessary. This means obvious trolling and flaming that becomes a problem will be dealt with, and you might find yourself in the doghouse.

As usual, Tweb rules apply. If you haven't read them now would be a good time.

Another fact filled post by Jorge. Challenging modern science each and every time!

    Jorge,

The fossils show a very long history of life on the Earth. A progression of forms in time. The radiometric clocks, the time frames associated with geological and sedimentary processes all are consilient and consistent with this history and durations at a minmum many orders of magnitude beyond what YEC can allow for.

How does a need to modify the scientific theory that describes HOW that history was formed change the FACT of the history itself or help mitigate its intrinsic conflict with the YEC interpretation?

My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

But a broken watch can be fixed. Fixing a broken mind is a much more daunting task.

Especially one that has the kind of schizophrenia that imagines a Cosmos and Earth 6,000 years old in spite of (literally) mountains of evidence to the contrary.

Maybe the Moon really IS made of green cheese...

Hey, if Jorge wants to believe the Barringer Meteor Crater is actually a giant gopher hole who are we to spoil his delusions?

          Not necessarily.

I'm always still in trouble again
