The blessed holy trinity a modern day tower of babel.

Many years ago in the land of Babylon men began building a tower to reach heaven. They called this tower the tower of babel which means, gate to God. This group of people thought they could reach God their own way. God looked down and called it confusion and struck them all with a curse. God mixed their language so they could not communicate with one another and scattered them throughout the earth. You can read about this record in Gen.11:1-9.

Many false ideas and doctrines came out of Babylon and have become part of the Christian faith. God calls His people to come out of Babylon.

Rev.18:2-4 He gave a mighty shout, "Babylon the Great is fallen, is fallen; she has become a den of demons, a haunt of devils and every kind of evil spirit. For all the nations have drunk the fatal wine of her intense immorality. The rulers of earth have enjoyed themselves with her, and businessmen throughout the world have grown rich from all her luxurious living.'' Then I heard another voice call from heaven, "Come away from her, my people; do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her.

Even though only one error would be enough for those who love the truth to abandon a falsehood we will be covering six of the many errors found in the trinity doctrine.

BUILDING THE TOWER
Genesis 11:3-4 And they said one to another, Come, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. They said, Come, let us build us a city, and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven...Even though it took a lot of work to make these bricks and many years to build the tower of babel it was still man's way to reach God. Each brick in the tower was like a manmade doctrine trying to reach God in the same way each doctrine used to build the trinity is manmade and unscriptural.

I pray this will help reveal some of these false concepts that were used in building the trinity doctrine.

THE FOUNDATION OF THE TRINITY TOWER
God is one in three co-eternal, co-equal persons. Co-eternal means that there was never a time when all three were not in existence. Co-equal means all three have the same knowledge, power and authority. If one of these elements prove false then the tower falls.

FIRST FALSE BRICK
Jesus is equal with the Father.

John 14:28 ...for my Father is greater than I.

1 Cor.15:27-28 "For God has put all things in subjection under Jesus' feet." But when it says, "All things are put in subjection under him," it is plain that he is excepted who put all things under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things under him, that God may be everything to every one.

Here we see the Father putting all things under Jesus and then Jesus submitting to His Father who put all things under Him. The important thing to note is that this takes place at the end of time for those who teach that Jesus only gave up His position of authority when He became human.

SECOND FALSE BRICK
God can't die but Jesus died but Jesus is still God eternal.

1 Timothy 6:16 God alone can not die and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has ever seen or can see...

Trinitarians teach that Jesus was able to died because He gave up His position as God to become human. If Jesus gave up His position then He's not eternally co-equal with His Father.

THIRD FALSE BRICK
Jesus knows all that His Father knows because they are co-equal in knowledge and power.

Mark 13:32 But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

According to this verse, Jesus doesn't have the same knowledge as His Father exposing the falsehood of being co-equal, co-eternal.

FOURTH FALSE BRICK
Jesus has equal power as His Father from all eternity.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

If I give you something there was a time when you didn't have it. Also, the one giving the power has to have greater power than the one receiving.

FIFTH FALSE BRICK
Jesus spoke to us in the old Testament because He is eternal.

Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets. has in these last days spoken to us by His Son...

God spoke through the prophets in the old days and then through His Son in the last days. Some Scripture verses give the impression that Jesus preexisted but an easy study shows that Jesus only existed in God's mind as His eternal plan.

1 Peter 1:20 Jesus was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at the end of times for your sake,

Romans 8:28 And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.

Ephesians 1:9 To us God made clear the secret of what He wanted. He was pleased to plan this in Christ.

Jesus only existed in God's plan in the same way we were in God's plan.

Ephesians 1:4 just as He chose us in Jesus before the foundation of the world...

Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you...

SIXTH FALSE BRICK
Jesus was one with the Father making Him the same as the Father.

John 10:30 "I and My Father are one.''

Jesus is one with His Father in will and purpose because Jesus was obedient.

John 17:22 "And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

This verse would make us co-eternal, co-equal with Jesus and the Father if understood with a trinitarian mindset but we know it has to do with will and purpose through obedience.

It's important to be able to understand the Father and Son relationship because eternal life is bound up in this understanding.

John 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
