Parables of Today-- A Continuation
I write Parables from time to time on the "Parables of Today" page of Natural Spirit Ministries. These parables all relate to what I am learning at the moment and my immediate surroundings. As "Parables of Today" explains, I began writing these parables even before I had come to a point of truly KNOWING the Lord. Thus, the works are a progression as I am and show my struggle. Sometimes, they are transparently obvious and other times even the most gifted interpreter can not put their finger on the exact meaning of the entire parable.
Enjoy my life's journey and feel free to reply at any time if you have any questions about a meaning.

The Fountain of Just Because (Parable #19 in the Series)
(This parable is based off a fountain on Michigan State University campus. It is the sequel to the 2002 parable "The Empty Cistern.")
-- http://parablesoftoday.izhere.com -- (A Channel of NSM)
Springs pour forth. The evenings filled with joy, rich in bloom, flowers in chorus to sing of the passing of a cloudy mashed potato laden day. See blue skies emerge in magnificience. Changing hue a sight to see upon the bench of reflection. And in the center the fountain do pour. Once an empty cistern now emerging with life as the giant cup overfloweth.
Nourishment, cleans waters provide, a song of beauty beeming smile with light beeming from the Sun. And flow waters do fillings the innards, making them function, filled to the brim with the spirit of heavenly Sunshine.
Into a lull the body cannot remain. Propelled to action at the simple glimpse of a rainbow-- that too from the Sun. An existence of promise and assurance that a much higher pwoer speaking in you and through you is sure proud of you.
~~~~~~~~~~
Do you sense the Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of God, flowing through you and blessing you? Do you know that as God's child, you are someone He is proud of! Imagine that!
::Looking for Parable Commentary::
http://parablesoftoday.izhere.com
would like to open up this post for people to give me ideas as I tweak my parable reading (at a weekly Open Mike event on MSU campus) that you think would help everyone better understand the main idea behind what I'm reading without removing the ambience of the deep thinking allegories.
I believe contemporary artists such as yourself enjoy digging meaning out of things, but I am not sure how confusing what I am reading is to Open Space.
I would like ideas for how you would like me to introduce a particular parable (background experience and setting) and if I should have any afterwords or not.
I'm working to put together a mass of 20+ parables into a book that fits together cohesively and speaks about the journey of my life, each parable being a step in that journey-- since I began writing them in 2002.
Thanks.
