I'm going to go the other way - no, being proud of your skin color and/or ancestry is not inherently racist. If it were then 'black pride' would necessarily be racist as well.
What is prejudicial, however, is when you decide X group is necessarily better than every other group and promptly start judging individuals on that basis.
For the record, I think pride in nothing but skin color is pretty danged stupid and petty. Hatred on the basis of skin color is also pretty danged stupid and petty. Hatred on the basis of someone else's hatred based on skin color is also pretty danged stupid and petty. Ultimately, you're getting worked up over something that doesn't truly matter in the least. I'm looking at you, Whag and PM - the problem isn't the skin color thing (that's just dumb) - the problem is the self sanctifying hatred and looking down on others. It's the same critter no matter what you excuse it with - and just as stupid and destructive.
Whatever 'ism' you want to tag it with, the real enemy is hate.
