GYM DEBATE COMMENTARY: Exodus genealogy problem (DivineOb vs. jpholding)
A Gym debate thread is opened to debate the following issue:
In the abscence of special pleading, there exists reason to doubt that http://www.tektonics.org/exodline.html provides a conclusive solution to the alleged discrepancy of an insufficiently lengthy genealogy in Exodus. 6:16-20."
DivineOb will be defending the affirmative and jpholding will be defending the negative. This debate will begin as soon as DivineOb makes his first post. The debate will last five rounds.
This debate is taking place here, and this thread is opened for the commentary on the debate. If there is anything I’ve learned from both conservatives and liberals, it’s that we can have all the “right” answers and still be mean. And when you’re mean, it’s hard for people to listen to, much less desire, your truth.
