Re: What Are You Currently Reading?
I've finally finished all the books I was reading, so now I'm reading Boethius' Consolation of Philosophy and Ben Witherington III's John's Wisdom: A Commentary on the Fourth Gospel.

"If God has given [his people] such joy now, joy in their faith, in their hope, in love, in the truth of his scriptures, what kind of joy is he preparing for them at the end? If he feeds them like this on the journey, how will he feast them in their homeland?"--Augustine of Hippo
"It cannot be that the people should grow in grace unless they give themselves to reading. A reading people will always be a knowing people."--John Wesley

I recommend you do not try too hard and ...research as little as possible. Such weighty things give me a headache. - Shunyadragon, Baha'i apologist

Re: What Are You Currently Reading?
"The Promise" (Understanding God Series) by Tony Evans. The book is about all aspects of the holy spirit. The author is great and I would recommend it.

Re: What Are You Currently Reading?
He's probably in the last generation that was photographed mostly in black and white as an adult. At the time, B&W film was still 1) cheaper, 2) finer grained at equivalent film speeds than color, 3) much much easier to process, especially in field labs, and 4) OK for most purposes since mass reproduction media were still largely B&W.

Finished Stalingrad. Excellent but grim. Very grim.
Now reading Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie. Excellent fantasy."To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour"

The IPCRESS File by Len Deighton, but I think I may put it aside for a bit. It's an excellent spy novel, but I'm more into short stories right now.

I've picked the LoTR trilogy back up (didn't have time to read it this semester) and am finishing up "The Fellowship of the Ring."
