Going Off Line...
After 8 years debating on the net I will be going off line and the end of this month. I'am losing my computer and DSL - and can't afford to replace them...
But it's been great fun. And I would like to thank sinner and saint alike. And if you read my blog you will see that I have always hoped that Christian universalism was true - so perhaps we will all one day met in the great by and by. Where the Lion will lie with the Lamb. Where men will learn war no more. Where there will be neither sorrow or death. Just joy, warmth and eternal friendship....
Peace be on all your families, James..."And all our yesterdays have lighted fools, the way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” Shakespeare

Oh man that stinks severely. Seer, I pray God blesses you with the means to return. I will miss you - you are a fixture here and it will not be the same without you.

Re: Going Off Line...
Farewell Seer. I'll miss your posts, even if most of them were a bit "out there". Maybe I'll speak to you again one day on this forum or another.
BTW can't you use your local library's computers? Or have you been kicked out for trying to put the 10 Cs in the library? ;)

Fare thee well, seer. We'll miss ya...but heck, I'm sure you'll figure out all kinds of stuff to do in life without being trapped in Tweb like us poor souls.

Re: Going Off Line...
TWeb owns his soul so he'll always be with us here in spirit.
If I have a mystical experience, an experience that's so overwhelming that I know now that there's a God, the cognitive fallout from that is irrelevant. The fact that that experience can be explained by psychologists in numerous ways is irrelevant to the fact that I now know.

Jim,
I will be missing you ,good hearted fellow! Good suggestion to use the local library computers and visit once in a while. If you cannot access T Web there, let's keep in touch via e-mails. abbaslittle1@hotmail.com.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving and remember that you have gained the affection of many of us on T Web.
In His Care.

Seer -
Is it simply the stuff you're losing, or are you going on the road, shaking off the burden of possessions and traveling light?
If it's the road, then happy journey - and I'm sure we'll hear all about it after you land and after possessions start to accumumate again (it's inevitable).
If it's just the stuff you're losing, I've got an old, unused 200 mhz machine that is just sitting around but which is still quite capable of surfing the web, and which I wouldn't mind UPSing to you.
And if all else fails: In my opinion, your wish about universalism is true. Christianity is Good News - and can you imagine better news than that universalism is true? So we'll all be seeing you up around the bend . . .
Good fortune, dude.
