I do not watch TV very much. But every once in a while I am reminded how superb particular programs are, or were. M*A*S*H* is, by far, my favorite situational comedy. The humor is amazing, and the acting is even better. I was watching the episode where Colonel Potter gives his horse, Sophie, to the displaced Korean Cavalry Colonel. I am moved everytime I see it. I think most sit-com writers would have botched that scene; but it was perfect for M*A*S*H*.
