To Jill Pole:
Just out of curiosity, is your name of choice a reference to the character from the Chronicles of Narnia, specifically The Silver Chair and The Last Battle?
If it is, that is extremely cool. If not, the fact that you chose a name that matches that of a Narnia character remains cool regardless of the real reasons.I am concerned with a certain way of looking at life, which was created in me by the fairy tales, but has since been ratified by the mere facts. -- G.K. Re: To Jill Pole:
It probably is (I think she said it was before but I can't remember). It would be one heck of a coincidence if it wasn't! The name I was going to use here before I finally decided on Hamster was "Eustace Scrubb," incidentally.

Yep that's where I got it ^_^ Those are my favorite books.
Didn't Voyage of the Dawn Treador start something like, "There was a boy named Eustace Scrubbs, and he almost deserved..."
Commander Tomalak: You will not survive our attack.
Captain Picard: You will not survive ours. Shall we die together?

Re: To Jill Pole:
Well, the Narnia thing is pretty cool. One time I seriously considered getting my name changed to 'Puddleglum'.

"There was a boy called Eustace Clarance Scrubb, and he almost deserved it."
Computer lab at school is next to the library. Otherwise I would have to run ten whole feet through the freezing arctic environment of northern Minnesota to my dorm room and get my copy.
Puddleglum rocks. He's a respectabiggle.
That reminds me how scandalous the Narnia series is. I've been reading the books to my classmates once a week, and all these respectable Evangelicals are just shocked at how these childrens books are chock full of drinking and references to alcohol.I am concerned with a certain way of looking at life, which was created in me by the fairy tales, but has since been ratified by the mere facts. -- G.K.
