Re: Where was Adam?
Adam's sin was heavy. Can you imagine? I wouldnt be surprised if he at times felt hopeless. He not only sinned against his Father, but also his wife ("the flesh of his flesh"), all of the creation that God had put him charge over and the myriad future generations to come. Boggles the mind. How did he go on? Because he knew that he could trust His father to make everything right again and that the Father would not have created him without a purpose in mind.

Re: Where was Adam?
Just as girls are the first to go through puberty, so Eve was the first to partake of the fruit, (while the boys take longer to experience the "curse" of growing up).
Hence, he was probably playing video games. So immature....

Re: Where was Adam?
But Adam may have already told her what God said. If someone know that you God information directly from God and they won't listen... what do you do?

Also, I don't see a reason for thinking that pre-fall authority was God then Man then Woman. I was under the impression that it became so post-fall.Good Day - TrinityKicker
My screen name is a technique from an ancient form of a Russian martial art called Sambo that means 'way of the king' in English. This particular technique involves striking any three vital points (joints, nerves, or arteries) in the span of little more that 1 second. Later, I realized that it offended some Christians and shortened it to TK. However, this site requires a longer screen name. I believe that God is triune.

Re: Where was Adam?
There has to be more reason then adam just standing there like a dummy. He knew the tree led to death, would he really just stand there like a fool and let her eat it?

Re: Where was Adam?
thats what I think aswell..i don't think he just stood there like a log, I think he was engaged in the temptation, listening to the snake confirm the temptation he himself probably had when thinking of the tree.

Re: Where was Adam?
It is possible that God told Eve Himself and it wasn't recorded.

Re: Where was Adam?
I suspect he was right there. She gives him the fruit to eat and he eats it.
